That’s right, our favorite funny ladies will be back to host the Golden Globes in January.

Yesterday, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced that Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have signed on for the 71st and 72nd ceremonies, after their roaring success hosting the 70th, which drew 19.7 million viewers.

And it turns out that their routine was prophetic when they referenced the host of the previous three ceremonies, Ricky Gervais.

“When you run afoul of the Hollywood Foreign Press, they make you host the show two more times,” joked Poehler.

But their bosses at the HFPA couldn’t be happier!

“We are thrilled Amy and Tina have decided to return as hosts,” said HFPA president Theo Kingma in a statement.

“Tina and Amy have a truly unique chemistry, making them one of the most talented and captivating pairings of all-time,” raved Allen Shapiro, CEO of Dick Clark Productions, which produces the ceremony.

When IN THE MIXX caught up with Poehler at Sundance earlier this year, she was humble about her performance.

“We’re just happy that it went well,” she said. “It was really fun.”

And she was apparently unaware of the rave reviews she and Fey had received.

“I don’t read any of them,” she said.

Tune in to see Amy Poehler and the all-star cast of her new film, “A.C.O.D.,” as well as guests Mary-Louise Parker and Butch Walker, this week, on IN THE MIXX Live from NYC with Gina Giordan, Thursdays at 7.30am on WEtv and Saturdays on VVH-TV at 11am and 11pm.
