With the recent passing of Nelson Mandela, admirers have continued to voice their love and appreciation for the beloved world leader.

Since news of his death broke on Thursday, more than 7.2 million tweets regarding Mandela’s passing have been posted on the social network with a peak of 95,000 tweets a minute.

To put the size of the overwhelming outpour in perspective, San Francisco based photographer Miguel Ríos made a visualization of Mandela constructed from  tweets sent out in response to his passing.

The art piece includes heartfelt tweets from around the world with highlighted posts from Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Rihanna, and several other public figures.

Nelson Mandela changed the world in his 95 years of life and though he is no longer with us, he will continue to live on through all those he has touched.
