Uh oh – it looks like Harry Styles may have made a famous enemy in Hollywood!
Mark Wahlberg revealed last night on “Conan” that his two young daughters, Ella and Grace have fallen for British boy band One Direction. And, Wahlberg admits that he’s feeling a little jealous that his children aren’t interested in his own career any more.
“My four-year-old’s going, ‘Daddy, I like Harry [Styles].’ And I’m like, ‘Well I’m gonna punch Harry in the nose when I see him,’” the actor joked. “She hides pictures of him in her room, and I pretend to rip them up and get jealous.”
The “Transformers” star, who rose to fame leading hip-hop group Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch in the early 1990s, and whose brother Donnie Wahlberg was a member of New Kids On The Block, seems to have abandoned his boy band roots.
Wahlberg joked that he plans to lure the One Direction boys into a meeting for the “Transformers” soundtrack, and then “beat the crap out of them!”
But, Wahlberg may be able to win back his daughters’ attention with some help from Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, and Jeremy Piven. As ITM reported yesterday, filming for the “Entourage” film has already begun. The original television series was executive produced by Wahlberg and loosely based upon his own adventures in Hollywood as a young actor.
We’re sure that the “Entourage” boys can give One Direction a run for their money!
