Before ITM hits the cold tundra at Sundance, we would like to share with you these three funny films we’re looking forward to this season.
One of the main reasons ITM is excited for these three funny films is because they’re overflowing with famous funny people including: Kristen Wiig (“Saturday Night Live”,) Amy Poehler (“Saturday Night Live” and “Parks and Recreation”,) Paul Rudd (“Friends”, “Parks and Recreation”,) Bill Hader (“Saturday Night Live”,) Ed Helms (“The Office”), Ty Burrell (“Modern Family”,) Cobie Smulders (“How I Met Your Mother”,) Max Greenfield (“New Girl”), Luke Wilson (“Anchorman”,) Rainn Wilson (“The Office”,) Jack McBrayer (“30 Rock”,) Kate Flannery (“The Office”,) and Nasim Pedrad (“Saturday Night Live”.)
The first film that ITM is looking forward to is “Cootie’s.”
“Cootie’s” plague the students at a remote elementary school forcing the teachers (Jack McBrayer, Kate Flannery, Nasim Pedrad, Alison Pill, Elijah Wood, and Rainn Wilson) to unite and fight for their lives against the feral mob of cootie-infested kids.
Between the cast and kooky premise ITM thinks this is a film “You’re Gonna Wanna Watch.”
The second funny film ITM is excited to experience is “The Skeleton Twins.”
Twins, Maggie (Kristen Wiig) and Milo (Bill Hader), have been estranged for a decade when they both have near-death experiences on the same day that motivates them to resolve their issues.
ITM is eager to be entertained by this film’s cast of famous faces including Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Luke Wilson, and Ty Burrell.
ITM’s third film we’re excited to watch is an classic love story called, “They Came Together.”
Joel (Paul Rudd), a corporate executive of a candy store chain, and Molly (Amy Poehler), owner of a mom-and-pop candy store, face obstacles similar to those in the 90’s romantic comedy “You’ve Got Mail” starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.
Apparently, Joel is told to shut down Molly’s mom-and-pop store and together they have to battle the odds against a goofy cast of characters (Michael Shannon, Max Greenfield, and Ed Helms) to find true love.
Check back later this week, In The Mixx will bring you exclusive coverage on “The Skeleton Twins”, “Cootie’s”, and “They Came Together.”
