Hollywood’s newest “it” girl Shailene Woodley stars in the upcoming film adaptation of the best selling novel, “Divergent.”
The move to a Hollywood action film had the actress turning to “The Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence for some advice.
So, would she also put a call in to “Twilight” star Bella Swan, A.K.A. Kristen Stewart?
Nope!
The young actress proved she wasn’t much of a “Twihard” saying, “Twilight, I’m sorry, is about a very unhealthy, toxic relationship. She falls in love with this guy and the second he leaves her, her life is over and she’s going to kill herself! What message are we sending to young people? That is not going to help this world evolve.”
Well, when you look at it that way…
OR, could she be holding a grudge against the franchise for not casting her rumored boy-toy Shiloh Fernandez as Edward Cullen?
You decide…
Woodley’s upcoming indie film, “White Bird in a Blizzard” co-stars Fernandez.
ITM caught up with Woodley along with Fernandez at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival where they were promoting the independent film.
