It’s official! Michael Strahan will be joining the “Good Morning America” cast. While the news is exciting, some may be wondering if it will affect his other hosting gigs.
Though rumors had been swirling for quite some time about the “Live with Kelly and Michael” co-anchor joining the 7am morning show, it was made official this morning when Strahan proudly marched onto the set.
The current anchors including Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos welcomed the former New York Giants defensive end with open arms.
While some have been speculating if the morning show move would take him away from his current position as co-anchor on “Live,” Strahan assured Kelly Ripa that his new gig would not take him away form his current one. The 42-year-old apparently has every intention of continuing on with their 9am show.
Strahan is said to only be joining “GMA” a few times a week but it still seems like a lot of work for the host who already has two other TV gigs including working alongside Terry Bradshaw on “Fox News Sunday.”
If Strahan can pull this off, it looks like he really is the host with the most.
