Alice Cooper may be best known for electric chairs, boa constrictors and decapitating his own head in a guillotine on stage but, you may be surprised to learn that this shock rocker is a bonafide mama’s boy!

It’s true, the long haired, mascara wearing preacher’s son, Vincent Damon Furnier a.k.a. Alice Cooper, still relies on his 89 year-old mom, Ella Mae Furnier.

In fact, Mama Furnier ultimately helped Cooper create his latest project, a “doc-opera” titled, “Super Duper Alice Cooper.”  The filmdirected by Sam Dunn, Scot McFadyen and Reginald Harkema, takes a journey through the rock legend’s life from his overnight success to suffering a debilitating drug addiction that almost destroyed him and his 38 year marriage to wife, Sheryl Goddard.

Cooper, who was at the Tribeca Film Festival’s premiere screening of his film earlier this week, told “Movies You Wanna Watch” on WE TV Host, Gina Giordan that the films never seen before arsenal of archival footage are thanks to his mama, “My mom kept everything, she was a hoarder.  She still has the band jackets that she made for us when we were in high school and she has all the acetates from the first records, which are now worth lots of money!”

Although Cooper admits he is “not a collector” and shared, “Certain things I’ll keep from certain people I really like.   I have a ring that George Harrison gave me.  That I’ll keep. Those are things that were personal things.  But, I’m not one of those guys that holds onto things from the old shows.  There’s people that just go crazy for that stuff!  I even think Neal’s (Smith) has still got the original guillotine!”
