NYC born and bred rock band, Sweet Cyanide is already tuning up for a powerhouse lineup later this summer season.  The bad boys from the Bronx are set to open for Alice Cooper and Mötley Crüe during their “Final Tour” on August 5 at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip Music Festival.  Now, Sweet Cyanide has been hand picked to kick off another historical performance at the Chip and open for the one and only, Cheap Trick and The Pretty Reckless on August 8.

Sweet Cyanide front man, Sal Scoca revealed Cheap Trick was a major inspiration to him growing up saying,  ”When it comes to Rock and Roll song writing there is no one more influential to me than Cheap Trick.”

Cheap Trick is one of the most frequently requested bands at the Buffalo Chip’s Annual Motorcycle and Music Festival.  August 8, Trick fans can expect to experience their classic hits including:  ”Surrender” and “I Want You to Want Me.”

Friday, Aug. 8 – The Pretty Reckless and Cheap Trick and Sweet Cyanide
