The Smiths are in the clear!

Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith were officially cleared from an investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services.

The investigation was prompted after a controversial photo of their teenage daughter Willow Smith, 13, and actor Moises Arias, 20, was posted to Arias’s Instagram in May.

A DCFS source told Radar Online,“No evidence presented that Willow has ever been in any danger around Moises or that she has ever been physically or emotionally abused.”

Even prior to the investigation, the Smiths stood firmly in support of their daughter. Will Smith called his daughter “very mature” and old enough to make her own decisions.

This family of performers felt that the photo was a form of artistic expression and ultimately just innocent fun.

Responding to the commotion, Jada Smith told TMZ, “There was nothing sexual about that picture or situation. You guys are projecting your trash onto it. You’re acting like covert pedophiles and that is not cool.”

Post investigation, the Smith family has been advised to monitor their children’s social media activity.

Looks like Willow Smith will lay low on the Instagramming for now and just stick to the hair whipping!
