Funny lady Melissa McCarthy is at it again! Her newest film, “Tammy” hits theaters today and there is no shortage of hilarious talent in the cast.
McCarthy, best known for her role of Meghan in “Bridesmaids” along side Kristen Wiig, co-wrote the film with husband Ben Falcone.
The movie follows Tammy, played by McCarthy, as she attempts to get out of town after a series of unfortunate, yet hilarious events. Luckily her grandmother Pearl, played by Susan Sarandon, decides to tag along for the ride. The two manage to drunk drive their way into a hilarious cast of characters.
Throughout the film, they come across several famous faces including Kathy Bates, Toni Collette and Mark Duplass as Bobby.
This isn’t the only funny flick Duplass is releasing this summer. He also stars along side Elisabeth Moss in “The One I Love.” The actor said the movie “will give you what you’re looking for in a romantic comedy and then it will give you something you never would have expected.”
We have a feeling “Tammy” will do the same!
With movies like “Bridesmaids,” “The Heat” and “Identity Thief” under Melissa McCarthy’s belt, there’s no doubt “Tammy” will be another hilarious summer comedy to add to the list.
