Bey just can’t seem to stay out of the news. From that infamous elevator episode where she stood frozen to rumors of a troubled marriage with Jay Z, to singing about it in a new remix, apparently Bey likes to be in the headlines.

Now Beyonce is singing about the vapor incident in her music. The Grammy Winner released a remix of her song “Flawless” with Nicki Minaj that directly addresses the elevator incident.

At 1 in the morning on August 4, Queen B released the surprise remix. It features both a verse from Minaj and nod to the Solange elevator assault.

“We escalate, up in this bitch like elevators

Of course sometimes s**t go down

When it’s a billion dollars on an elevator,” she sings in the remix.

Beyonce was frozen last May when her sister Solange Knowles began flailing and kicking at Jay Z in the elevator at the Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District.

Rolling Stone said that Minaj and Beyonce’s collaboration comes years after Nicki said she’s the number one artist she’s wanted to work with.

“I’ve worked with just about all my dream collabs, like I’ve worked with Jay-Z and I’ve worked with Kanye and I worked with Rihanna and I’ve worked with Eminem. Those were at the top of my list. Now that I’ve done that, probably the only one on my list that I haven’t worked with that I’m really, really excited about is Beyonce.”

The new remix can be found here.
