Last night was the 2014 MTV European Music Awards at The SSE Hydro in Gasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom!
Nicky Minaj hosted the talent filled Scottish show, which included performances by Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Charli XCX and of course, Ireland natives U2!
While some fans were impressed by U2’s soulful rendition of “Every Breaking Wave,” some were still reeling from the iTunes invasion of the group’s latest album, “Songs of Innocence.”
Bono recently apologized for the aggressive move and Apple even set up an official page to help delete the U2 album from user’s iTunes Library but, it seems it wasn’t enough for some angry fans.
Following the rock group’s EMA performance, many took to twitter to voice their not-so-nice opinions.
It’s clear some are still a bit disgruntled with the band but, with how amazing the rocker’s performances continue to be, there’s no doubt fans will be back on the U2 bandwagon soon!
