Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton have officially called it quits after 13 years together!
The power couple met in 2001 while filming “Planet of the Apes,” which Burton directed and Carter starred in.
The 56-year-old director and 48-year-old actress continued their working relationship throughout the years, collaborating on films including: “Big Fish,” “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” “Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” and most recently “Dark Shadows” in 2012.
The split announcement came about a year after the New York Post published a very grainy photo of Burton kissing a mystery blonde. The couple’s rep quickly denied the allegations of infidelity.
While the couple may be calling it quits, many are wondering what this will mean for the future of Burton’s films, which almost always star Carter!
Only time will tell.
MYWW host Gina Giordan recently sat down with Helena Bonham Carter for an exclusive interview at the Hamptons International Film Festival to talk about her latest films.
