Amy Poehler and Tina Fey returned to the Golden Globe stage for the second time to entertain the A List crowd.
The dynamic duo started off strong but things took a turn when they poked fun at the legendary Bill Cosby.
Cosby, who has been under intense scrutiny after several women came forward to accuse the comedian of rape. While Hollywood has had mixed opinions regarding the issue, most big screen stars have chosen not to comment on the topic.
The SNL alums shocked the crowd when Fey did her best Cosby impression saying, “I put the pills in the people that the people did not want put into them,” Poehler replied, “No, Tina, hey. That’s not right. That’s not right. It’s more like, ‘I got the pills in the bathrobe and I put ‘em in the people!’”
While a few chuckles were heard among the audience, the overall reaction was awkward .
The bold joke didn’t stop the NBC stars. The two went on to bring the laughs for the remainder of the award show.
