“Keeping Up With The Kardashians: About Bruce” concluded it’s 2 night special last night on E! and gave viewers an in depth look at the families struggle with the Olympian’s transition.
While all of the Kardashian/Jenner girls seemed extremely supportive of Bruce, it was the youngest Kardashian, Khloe, who seemed to be taking the news the hardest. During the special, Khloe admitted that she felt left in the dark saying, “You have children, you don’t have to answer to us, but you need to tell us! I don’t care that you want to do it, I support you, I have always supported you, but I don’t think it’s fair that you won’t tell us how close this is in the near future. We’re still your kids!”
While Bruce shared how difficult it was telling his children about his plans to transition into a woman, he admitted the hardest person to face was his ex wife, Kris Jenner.
During Part 2 of the “About Bruce” special, the 65-year-old sat down with Kris for an honest conversation for the first time. Bruce said, “You are the toughest one to talk to out of anybody” to which a tearful Kris replied, “well maybe it’s because I’m the one you lied to the longest.”
The family matriarch continues, “I just miss Bruce and that’s going to take a minute for me to mourn that relationship. And I’m trying so hard to just process my pain and get through my days, it’s a struggle. I wake up in the morning and then I realize, ‘oh my God, this is really happening.’ I have to mourn this person I was married to for all these years. You think you’re going to grow old with someone and they drastically change over the course of a few years. It’s like I have to mourn Bruce Jenner.”
It’s clear that Jenner’s transition hasn’t been easy but, each member of the family, including Kris, have been adamantly showing their love and support for Bruce.
